Meet Chase
Meet Chase and Grace, an absolutely gorgeous bonded pair of Bull Mastiffs searching for a forever home where they can stay together. These two have shared life side by side for many years and have a wonderfully calm, affectionate relationship that is a pleasure to watch.
Chase is the more confident of the pair and happily takes new experiences in his stride, although his large size sometimes comes with a little lovable clumsiness. Grace is initially a little more reserved, particularly in the kennel environment, but absolutely lights up when reunited with her best friend. Together they balance each other beautifully.
Both dogs enjoy gentle walks where they can explore the world at their own pace, taking plenty of time to sniff and investigate their surroundings. Once they’ve had their exercise, they’re more than happy to settle down with their family and will likely become expert couch companions and lap warmers despite their impressive size!
They are affectionate, loyal dogs who simply want to be included in family life. With a little patience while they adjust to indoor living and plenty of love, Chase and Grace will reward their new family with endless companionship and devotion. If you’re looking for two gentle giants to share your home and heart, this beautiful pair may be exactly who you’ve been waiting for.

How our Adoption Process Works
Step 1) Preparation
Read our Adoption Philosophy and make sure your views on dog ownership align with ours. Please read this entire page to make sure you are ready for adoption day.
Step 2) APPLY
Browse available dogs online, review our dog sociability matrix and then complete an adoption questionnaire.
Step 3) ADOPTION
7 DAYS A WEEK: Walk ins welcome for adoption interviews between 11am-3pm! Our gates remain open until 4pm, but we conclude our adoption interviews at 3pm so we have time to take the dogs out, feed them and get them ready for bedtime.
During quieter periods, we will also do our best to review online applications, but unfortunately cannot get back to every applicant, especially for more ‘popular’ dogs. If you agree with our adoption philosophies and are ready to adopt- please do not wait for us to contact you after submitting a questionnaire.
PUPPIES & DOGS IN FOSTER CARE: If you are particularly interested in a young puppy or a dog that is currently in foster care, please indicate this on your questionnaire. Young puppies will not be on site here at the Refuge as it is much more beneficial for them to remain in foster care until their adoption. For dogs and puppies that are not on site, we will review online applications and get in touch with suitable homes to arrange a meet and greet.
