Meet Indi – a big, beautiful girl with an even bigger personality! This lively lady loves getting out and exploring the world, whether it’s heading off on a walk, sniffing every interesting scent, or simply taking in her surroundings.

Indi can be a little unsure when meeting new people, particularly if she’s tired or adjusting to a new environment. With a little patience, reassurance, and a few tasty treats, she quickly begins to show her affectionate, playful side. Once she trusts you, she’s a loyal companion who loves being close to her people-and she certainly won’t let her size stop her from trying to be a lap dog!

An active home where she can enjoy regular adventures and enrichment, balanced with a calm, predictable environment where she feels safe, would be perfect for her. Indi would prefer to be the only dog in the home, though she may enjoy regular walks with a calm, well-mannered canine friend.

Because Indi can be fearful of unfamiliar people and doesn’t appreciate being disturbed while she’s resting, she isn’t suited to living with children and is likely to find them overwhelming.

To help her settle into her new home, Indi is looking for a quiet household that can keep visitors to a minimum for the first 2-3 weeks while she builds confidence and feels secure.
