Meet handsome Barry! This lovely boy came to us from a local pound and is now ready to begin a brand-new chapter with a family who will give him the calm, predictable home he deserves.
Barry is naturally aloof, and he appreciates gentle handling and time to settle into new environments. With understanding and patient guidance, he warms up beautifully and lets more of his sweet personality shine.
He’s also an athletic lad with plenty of energy to enjoy. Barry would make a fantastic companion for someone who loves staying active – he’d happily join you on daily walks, runs, or hikes in quiet areas. While in our care, he has made a few walking friends and is generally keen to make new doggy pals.
At heart, Barry is a happy, toy-loving boy who’s eager for a fresh start. He can’t wait to meet his special person and continue growing into his full potential.

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone. Please review our Adoption Process or complete an Adoption Questionnaire prior to your visit.
