Odin is an extremely smart and energetic dog, he will need experienced owners (ideally experienced with shepherds or arctic breeds) who can keep up with his daily need for lots mental stimulation and exercise (at least 1.5 hr a day). He may take some time to warm up to new people but is an affectionate cuddle bug who has a lot to say and loves a tummy rub once he trusts you. Odin is most suited to a calmer home environment with people who are home more often than not, and have plenty of time to put into his training as well as giving him all the love. Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone.
