This sweet boy came to us from a local pound, Baskin is looking for a family who are experienced with high energy working dogs and would love to have daily outings to stretch his legs. He’s affectionate and sweet but not coping here in the refuge environment so is looking for a family who will give him time to decompress and get used to his new life. In his previous home/foster home he had amazing reports and was noted to love meeting new people and even had off lead play dates 🙂 He even coped with full time hours after a 2 week settling period.
He will need 1.5 hr dedicated to his physical exercise and mental enrichment daily. Baskin would make the perfect hiking or running companion. He’s prefer a calmer home with older kids 13+.

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone.
