Sammy is a sweet and affectionate big boy who has found him self back in our care for the second time. He is ready for his forever people! This young Staffy is full of love and energy, and he’s looking for a family who can give him guidance and rewarding experiences.
Sammy will thrive in an active home where at least 1-1.5 hours a day is dedicated to exercise and enrichment. He’s playful, but needs a little help mastering his doggy manners. Sammy can make doggy friends with slow introductions and may be able to live with a suitably matched companion, or to be the centre of attention as the only dog.
He’s best suited to a home with older, dog-savvy kids (10+) and fit, capable handlers who can continue his training with positive, reward-based methods. Sammy is a loving, affectionate boy with so much potential – he just needs the right family to help him shine.

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone. Please review our Adoption Process or complete an Adoption Questionnaire prior to your visit.
