Kowhai ❀ is a big friendly boy who is eager to get out of kennels and into his furever home
He has not been coping in kennels, so has had a break in foster and is absolutely loving it. This boy is so affectionate and playful, and has even been okay being left alone for 8 hours once settled into the home. He loves getting cuddles and like a chew on a bone, horn, cows hoof, dehydrated trachea, etc. He also loves finding dried liver in his snuffle mat. Tug of war and ball chasing are also lots of fun for him!
This boy needs a relaxing home environment where he can decompress, enjoy lots of time bonding with his humans (potential to live with kids 10+ pending a meet) and be provided with adequate exercise and enrichment ★
Kowhai can be over excited when seeing other dogs, so will need some guidance in this department, but he has lots of potential as he is eager to please 🙂

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted.
