Through no fault of her own, Melanie has found herself back at the Dogs’ Home. She is a little Pocket Rocket of energy who is awaiting an active family to take her in.
She requires plenty of daily exercise and activities, enrichment, playtime with her toys and more training guidance as she fine tunes her skills & manners.
This sweet pooch enjoys a game of chasey with her tennis balls and is a little cuddle bunny once she has gotten her energy out. She can be a little stressy so needs a family who are home with her more often than not.
She may suit a home with a compatible dog friend and could live with kids 10+. Melanie has a zest for life and is sure to make a wonderful family member.

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone.
