Meet Acorn – a sweet, gentle little soul with a big heart. Acorn can be a bit shy at first and prefers calm introductions to new people and dogs, but with patience and kindness, she soon warms up and shows her affectionate side.
She’d love a quiet, loving home where she can feel safe and be surrounded by people who are home more often than not. Acorn could live with a calm, friendly doggy brother or as your one-and-only companion, as long as she has plenty of enrichment and love.
Acorn isn’t a fan of boisterous dogs or busy off-lead parks, but she’ll adore peaceful walks, gentle play, and quiet cuddles with her family. She could live with dog-savvy kids aged 10+ who understand that she likes space and shouldn’t be overhandled.

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone. Please review our Adoption Process or complete an Adoption Questionnaire prior to your visit.
