This silly big boy is a sweet but sensitive soul who will require patient and dedicated owners who are committed to helping this young boy build up his confidence.
He can be a bit shy with new people initially but warms up with positive experiences and gentle handling. He is more wary of men and will require ongoing work with one of our recommended positive reward-based trainers to help conquer his fears!
Shaq adores his doggy friends and would greatly benefit going home with a doggy sibling that can tolerate some boisterous puppy play but also help teach him some manners.
He would be best suited to an active family who are committed to his ongoing training needs. He could go home with dog savvy kids 10+.

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone. Please review our Adoption Process or complete an Adoption Questionnaire prior to your visit.
