Tyson is a sweet and fun young boy who is ready to find a family to grow up with. He hasn’t had much exposure to the world yet, so he can be a little unsure at times, but with patience and positive experiences he will continue to gain confidence.
Tyson enjoys gentle neighbourhood walks, especially during quieter times of the day. As he hasn’t been walked much recently, he can feel nervous when the lead becomes tight, so he does best walking on a secure harness and at a relaxed pace. He also walks much more confidently when he has a dog friend by his side.
Being a young dog, Tyson still has some puppy behaviours such as mouthing when he gets excited. With calm guidance, training, and appropriate toys to redirect to, he will continue to learn good manners. He would really benefit from attending positive reward-based training classes to help build his confidence and skills.
Tyson would love a home with another playful and tolerant dog who can be his buddy and help him feel more comfortable. He is looking for owners who can spend plenty of time with him in the early months while he settles in and adjusts to home life.
Due to his puppy energy and excitement, Tyson would be best suited to a home with teenagers aged 13+ who can interact calmly with him.
Tyson is a lovely boy who will bring lots of joy, fun and companionship to the right home. 🐾

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone.
