Miffy is a lovely young Shar Pei with a soft nature and a playful side. She can be a little nervous in new situations, but once she feels comfortable she is affectionate, food motivated, and enjoys spending time with her people.
Miffy likes calm environments and does best when things are introduced gradually. She enjoys going for relaxed walks, sniffing her surroundings, and prefers gentle, handling, so adopters who can respect her boundaries will help her feel safe and settled.
She has shown friendly social skills with other dogs and may be able to live with a compatible dog friend following a meet and greet. Due to her sensitivity, Miffy is best suited to a home with older children aged 13 years and over.
Miffy would thrive with patient owners who understand Shar Pei quirks or are keen to learn. With time, reassurance, and kindness, she will make a loyal and rewarding companion.

There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone.
