Amy is a gentle older girl who is looking for her perfect quiet home to relax in. Amy has been through a bit of a stressful time, and would love to join a calm home environment where her new family can take the time to settle her in and bond with her. Amy may prefer a home with less comings and goings to start with, though may be able to live with respectful and gentle children 10yrs+ pending meets, as well as older persons, so long as they can confidently provide for her needs and comfortably handle her size and strength. She may be able to settle into full time hours comfortably after adjusting to the routines and having her needs met consistently. She does need to loose some weight which would assist in helping her feel better and place less stress on her joints as she ages. Amy is a lovely girl, and is looking to soak up all the individual attention as the one and only dog in her next loving home. Meet Amy at the refuge today.

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone.
