Pepe is the cutest shar pei x looking for his furever home! Pepe loves to give his people affection once he feels safe, he has the potential to be a great family dog or companion.
Pepe has lacked a lot of socialisation in his short life as well as experience on the lead. Pepe should be walked on a well fitted harness for walks as he sometimes stops and runs to end of the lead. This is just lack of experience on lead, will improve with time and positive experiences.
Pepe has done well with his dog friends since arriving at the refuge. He would like polite dog friends that he can learn from and play with. Pepe could go home with another dog, an older dog would be best to have role model.
Pepe could go home with part time or flexible workers and polite kids 10+, pending a meet.

There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone.
