Monroe is a young catahoula x staffy mix who is looking for a fresh start and her forever family. Monroe has the sweetest nature and has so much potential.
Monroe has lacked a lot of early socialisation in her life, she will need experienced owners who can help socialise her at her pace and ensure not overwhelm her. Monroe can be shy of new people especially crowds of people. Getting low and allowing her to come to you is the key. Monroe has done well with her dog friends since arriving at the refuge. Monroe will need ongoing dog friends she can socialise with in her new home to help improve her confidence and generally wellbeing. Monroe would love to go home with another dog, however this is not a must as this stage.
Monroe could go home with part time or flexible workers at this stage. She will need an adjustment period to living inside a home and a slow introduction to alone time. Ensure to leave Monroe with an activity and lots of doggy items to prevent boredom.
Monroe could go home with dog savy kids 13+, pending a meet.
