Penny arrived through a local pound and is now looking for her forever home!
Penny is a gentle and affectionate dog who has made great progress since arriving fearful and withdrawn from the pound. She may still be timid with new people, so she’ll need patient owners who let her approach at her own pace.
Penny would thrive in a home with part-time or flexible workers, regular exercise like walks and play, and continued socialisation through classes or dog friends. She has settled well in foster care, can handle short periods alone, and could live with dog-savvy children aged 10+ after a successful meet.

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone.
