Lizzy came to us through a local pound, she was frequently known to the pound as her previous owner was homeless and would often leave her tied up outside of different places. New owners should go slow and allow Lizzy to come to them. She would do best in a low traffic home with older kids 10+, pending a meet.
Once Lizzy feels safe, she really comes out of her shell! Silly, playful girl just waiting for her forever home!
Lizzy has done well with her dog friends here. She would likely benefit from having a doggy brother in the home, but could go as only dog as well given she has opportunities to continue socialising. Lizzy would highly benefit from group class after a couple mouths of settling in.

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone.
