Bert is a sweet, affectionate and handsome Cocker Spaniel looking for a family who understands that even lovely dogs can sometimes need a little extra support. He loves being close to his people, enjoys adventures, and is happiest when included in family life.
Bert is highly food motivated, intelligent and eager to learn. He enjoys exploring, going for walks and spending quality time with his favourite humans. While he can be sensitive in certain situations, he has shown himself to be polite with dogs and very eager to work with his humans.
Bert would thrive with adopters who are willing to continue positive reinforcement training, respect his boundaries and provide him with a calm, supportive environment. In return, they will gain a loyal, affectionate companion who enjoys cuddles just as much as adventures.

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone.
