Boof is a lovely, affectionate Staffy boy who forms strong bonds once he feels safe and comfortable with his people. While initially a little unsure in new situations, he quickly warms up and absolutely loves a cuddle once his confidence grows.
Boof enjoys exploring his environment, engaging with his handlers, and taking calm walks where he can sniff and take things at his own pace. He generally prefers avoiding conflict or overwhelming social interactions with other dogs and would likely be happiest in a quieter home where he can relax without social pressure from canine companions.
He is still learning some basic lead manners and confidence skills, but he is responsive to gentle guidance and easy to redirect. With patient owners who understand the importance of decompression and gradual adjustment, Boof has the potential to become a very rewarding companion.
Boof would suit a calm home environment with owners committed to ongoing confidence building, enrichment, and positive training support.

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone.
